Signature Management is committed to making a positive impact on the environment. We’ve implemented many green initiatives within our company and communities. We encourage our residents, clients, and vendors to follow our lead.
What we are doing...
- Programmable/set-back type thermostats are installed in all common areas.
- An employee at each community is responsible for turning off all common area/office lights.
- Timers or motion detectors for lighting are installed in Laundries, Fitness Centers, bathrooms and utility closets
- HVAC coils, evaporator and condenser and refrigerator coils are cleaned on a regular basis. Filters are changed twice per year at a minimum.
- All office and common area bulbs including bathrooms are energy saving bulbs.
- Rain sensors are installed on all irrigation systems.
- Monthly inspections are performed of the entire irrigation system checking for leaks, misaligned nozzles, broken heads, nozzles, risers, and missing valve box lids.

What you can do...
- Walk, ride a bicycle, or use mass transit instead of driving.
- Turn off your computer and monitor when not in use. Don’t forget about lights too!
- Use energy-saving settings on washing machines, dishwashers, and clothes dryers.
- Recycle items such as newspaper, aluminum cans, and plastic bottles.
- Close heating vents and close doors to unused rooms.
- Close drapes and windows during sunny summer days and after sunset in cooler weather.
- Take short showers instead of baths.
- Wash only full loads of dishes and clothes. Wash clothes in cold water.
- Turn off the water while brushing your teeth and shaving.
